Traffic rules are made to be followed. In Bihar, they are made to be broken. Yes, it is the truth of traffic in our cities. Barely at 10 to 15 places would you see commuters complying by traffic rules; and at rest of the places people barely heed to rules. Don't be surprised if they answer in negation if enquired about knowledge of traffic rules. The only rule they know is to get to their destinations anyhow. No one cares about problems caused to others. People do not take rules seriously until they get stuck in traffic themselves. Blocking one way routes, taking shortcuts, sharp turns, turns without indication, continuous honking, spitting everywhere, abusing others, parking on the road,... are common sights in the capital.
